OSScon CTF Rules
Thank you for participating in our second OSScon CTF challenge! Please read the following rules carefully as breaking any of them may result in penalities or disqualification. And as always, have fun and I hope you guys learn something new!
By signing up and participating in our CTF, you agree to abide by the following rules:
- Flags will be in the format "OSSCTF{something_here}" unless otherwise stated in a challenge.
- No brute forcing flags.
- Do not attack OSS infrastructure in any way, shape, or form unless a challenge says otherwise (like for web exploit challenges).
- Do not sabotage or disrupt other teams that are participating in the competition.
- Do not steal flags from other teams that are competing in the CTF.
- Do not leave campus while you are completing challenges.
- Teams must consist of no more than four (4) members.
- Teams may not collaborate with other teams during the event.
- All team members must be physically present at the event.
- A majority of your team members must attend at the awards ceremony.
If you need to leave campus or your team cannot attend the awards ceremony, please notify Biscuit in advance to avoid penalties or disqualification. Exceptions will be made for valid circumstances (medical issues, meals, personal responsibilities, etc.).
